This kit is for a stunning large wrap, knitted by holding one strand of Yak Blend 2 together (400m p. 100 gr) with 1 strand of Soliloquy Sock Lace (600m p. 100 gr). Those 2 strands together achieve a yarn weight that is similar to a DK. The pattern uses finer yarns (6-700m per 100 gr) so to achieve the perfect fabric, use 4mm needles instead of the 3.5mm the pattern calls for.
The kit contains:
2 x 100 gr of Soliloquy Sock Lace (1,200m) - held throughout
4 x 50 gr of Yak Blend 2 in the main colour (800m) - wider stripes
2 x 50 gr of Yak Blend 2 in the complementary colour (400m) - narrow stripes and bobbles
Note: the sample in the pictures is knitted in the Peacock Colourway
