This shawl is knitted from the middle of the back neck point down and out, in segments. It is knitted such that the 3 colours, joining the project at different point, never have to be cut, so at the end there are only the 3 ends at the starting and finishing points to weave in.
The kit contains 3 x 50gms of Layercake Linen 3-ply (600m per 100gms) and the pattern.
The approx. measurements of the shawl after steam-blocking are 160cm wide by 40cm high at the mid-point.
More colour combinations are to follow w/c 22 June in Layercake Linen 3-ply and in Soliloquy Sock Lace.
The pattern will be available by itself later this year.
