The NEW Charcoal and Violet Cross-weaves as well as the Pinstripe Tail Smocks are all show worn over Playsuits to help illustrate their shape.
The most dramatic member of the collection, the Tail Smock takes its inspiration from the classic gentleman's Morning Coat and turns it into a stunning Layercake. We know one of our ideas is a good 'un if we immediately get greedy and want to keep the first samples!
All Tail Smocks are made using 100% pre-shrunk linen that is woven especially for us so they can be machine-washed and dried without the fear of shrinkage.
They look fabulous over our Smocks and Tabards (and nothing short of head-turning worn with a Playsuit!) but may also be perfect to team with that dress or tunic you already have at home.
The impact of a Tail Smock on an outfit is dramatic. It looks chic, unique and stunning yet is as practical and easy to wear as all Layercake pieces.
We stock these in a limited number of colours only. If there is a specific colour you would like please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
They come in the same sizes as the other key Layercake pieces.
ABOUT OUT OF STOCKS: if a certain fabric/size shows as pre-order, it means we DO have more fabric, the garment just needs to be made for you, so if you place an order for a pre-order item, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
If a colour/size combination shows as "unavailable" then both the garment and the fabric are out of stock and we do not expect any new fabric in the next couple of months at least.
