This blanket is knitted in a combination of stocking, moss and garter stitches so that it is completely double sided. It was inspired by one of Helen’s quilts, made with home-dyed cotton in the same graduated colour palette.

What better way to show off graduated colours as dyed in Chapter 4. Although the blanket looks like it was made up out of a huge number of small squares, it is actually knitted in long strips that can either be knitted together with every subsequent strip or sewn together at the end of the project.
