Cute little waistcoat with optional waterfall front. Knitted sideways with short-row shaping for fit and lovely drape. The version in the pictures was knitted with 2 strands of Soliloquy AlpacaBoo Sock-Lace held together.
It is knitted in one piece from side to side and can be worn in both directions, which creates either a waterfall front (as in the pictures on the mannequin) or a straight front (as in the picture on the model). It can be knitted on straight needles but you may find a circular needle easier as you won't have to hold up the knitting as it gets heavier. Edging around the armholes is knitted in the round.
