This pre-order offer runs until the end of Monday 26 May. Your order will be produced after that and will ship out to you by Monday 10 June. If you order any Ready to Ship items together with your pre-order, the entire order will ship when your Cap Top/Tunic is ready. To receive your Ready to Ship items earlier, please place separate orders.
Returning customers may apply their loyalty discount on top of the pre-order discount.

How to order your Pre-order Summer Linen Cap Top/Tunic:
- Choose the colour of your choice on the colour selection page HERE
- Select your Shape (Top or Tunic)
- Select your size, then add to bag
- On the bag page, type the colour of your choice in the "Note to The Slow Wardrobe" box.
- Check out as usual
- Your order will ship by the 10th of June. You will receive a shipping notification as soon as it is on its way to you.
The Smock is an over-piece with a curvy silhouette that can be thrown over pretty much any outfit. When you wear one of these, you will find comfort in the freedom of movement and practicality in the large pockets. Not to mention the seemingly never-ending stream of compliments you get wearing a Layercake Smock!
Length from shoulder (size 2): 90 cm (36 in) front and back, dipping to 115 cm (45 in) at the sides – slightly shorter in the smaller sizes.
Size 3 Petite: available both in the Smock as well as the Tabard shape for size 3's of 5'4" or less.
Because the linen used for Layercake over-pieces is very hard-wearing and pre-shrunk, it is a great piece of work-wear that will get softer with wear and age and last you for years. Whenever you walk past a mirror or window, you will notice the silhouette the Smock adds to your stature.

Love Top / Love Tunic
4 sizes, designed to fit a very wide range of shapes and heights, from a UK size 10 to 28. Check these garment measurements to give you an idea of the fit for each size.
The Love Top is available both in a selection of linen colours as well as a selection of organic cotton jerseys. When choosing your size for the cotton jersey, you can opt for close to no positive ease for a more fitted look (the stretch will give you ease of movement despite a close fit).
NOTE: length measurements are taken from the top of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem.

We do everything we can to be truly size-inclusive. We can highly individualise your garment, by adapting the standard fit and/or choosing a non-standard fabric/colour.

Linen Care & Washing Instructions
Every Layercake has washing labels sewn into them, usually in the left side-seam. All our linen is washed and tumbled, unless stated otherwise and can be machine-washed at 40º C and either line-dried or machine-dried. When line-drying, avoid exposure to strong direct sunlight as it may fade the colours. If you machine-dry, take it out of the dryer as soon as it finishes and hang it up straightaway, then you will not have to iron it.

Linen is one of the world's strongest textiles and most sustainable fashion choices, creating zero waste as every part of the plant is used (for textiles and food). Our linen is all European grown, yarn-dyed and woven especially for us, then washed and tumbled at the mill.
