Faerly is our most popular shawl pattern. It is lacy yet simple to knit and the stitches used don't compete with the yarn, so it works very well with variegated, speckled or gradient yarns.
This pattern is available as a medium size shawl (wing span 163cm (64"), 76cm (30") drop or as a large shawl (wing span 248cm (98"), 112cm (44") drop.
Faerly XL takes approx. 1,050m of yarn and can be knitted using 400m of 4-ply yarn. The shawls in the pictures were knitted with Layercake Linen Yarn. Kits containing both yarn and pattern for the large size are available HERE. You can find kits for the Medium size HERE.
The Faerly Medium in the picture is knitted up in the Violet gradient, the XL is knitted in the Neutrals and Dark Teal Layercake Linen gradients (which match our Black Gingham and Pinstripe Linen fabrics as well as our about to be introduced Dark Teal Cross-weave Linen Dresses).
The Linen Gradient Sets are also sold as separate bundles of 4 x 25 gr hanks of 150 m each (600 m in total) HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email with a download link which will give you the opportunity to download a PDF of the pattern.
